Busanjin-Hae Economic Free Zone Authority Selects Six Consulting Firms for 'Strategic Item' New Business Ventures
Customized Consulting
Follow-Up Support Linked to Policy Projects and Investment Attraction
The Busanjin-Hae Economic Free Zone Authority (Commissioner Park Seongho, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) has selected and announced consulting firms to help companies utilize strategic items as new business ventures.
On September 3, the Authority announced that it had finalized the selection of six companies to participate in the "BJFEZ Strategic Item New Business Consulting Support Program," which targets companies seeking to enter new businesses or expand existing ones by leveraging BJFEZ strategic items.
This program is a proactive corporate support initiative designed to strengthen the industrial ecosystem and assist companies in establishing actionable business plans, focusing on the five strategic items established by the Authority last year: coffee beans, cold chain components, hydrogen energy, ship machinery parts, and robot components.
The six companies selected for this program are Kanglim CSP, Busan Cross Dock, Panasia, Cools, Theham DNC, and QR P Tech. Each company will receive one-on-one consulting support for up to six weeks, with a total value of 5 million won per company. The selected companies were finalized after an evaluation committee review, during which they scored above the required threshold in areas such as relevance to strategic items, business potential, and specificity of execution plans.
This program goes beyond simple advisory services, offering practical business plan consulting that includes concretizing new business ideas, conducting market and business feasibility analyses, establishing execution plans, and preparing investment proposals. A key feature is that companies are matched with experts of their own choosing for intensive consulting sessions.
The Authority plans to expand the results of this consulting program into future policy development, national funding-linked projects, and follow-up innovation alliance initiatives. After the consulting is completed, a step-by-step support system will be continuously established to help each company implement its new business execution plan.
