Everything About Health from 160 Companies... Busan to Host 2025 Global Healthcare Week
Welfare, Rehabilitation, Anti-Aging, and Cosmetics Industries All in One Place
Busan City (Mayor Park Hyungjoon) will host the '2025 Global Healthcare Week' at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 from September 4 to September 6, 2025.
This year marks the 8th edition of the event, which will integrate the 17th International Welfare Rehabilitation Senior Expo, the 12th Busan International Anti-Aging Expo, and the 2025 Busan Cosmetics & Beauty Festival. The event will serve as a comprehensive exhibition and experiential platform covering the entire healthcare industry.
The 2025 Busan International Medical Tourism Convention and the 2025 Citizen Health Expo will also be held concurrently, allowing visitors to experience a wide array of healthcare-related content all in one place.
The event is hosted by Busan City and organized by BEXCO, Busan Ilbo, and Busan Technopark, with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. Admission is free, and the integrated opening ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 5.
Key programs include the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Export Consultation Meeting, a domestic distribution consultation session, a Restart Job Fair for middle-aged and older job seekers, and special lectures by renowned medical professionals. The KOTRA Export Consultation Meeting will invite 36 buyers from eight countries, including China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Tanzania, to participate in one-on-one export consultations with participating companies.
The Korea Medical Device Distribution Association will host the domestic distribution consultation session, while the Busan Economic Promotion Agency will provide job counseling and interview support for middle-aged and older participants. In addition, nine local hospital specialists will deliver special health lectures for citizens.
This year's event will feature a total of 160 companies, including 68 in the welfare and rehabilitation sector, 50 in the anti-aging sector, and 28 in the cosmetics and beauty sector, operating over 400 booths. Innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence brain health platforms, smart wearable devices, functional insoles, and three-dimensional correction and treatment devices will be showcased. In the beauty sector, makeup experiences and personal color analysis sessions will be available, expected to draw significant interest from visitors.
