Namwon City in North Jeolla Province is accepting applications for the "2026 Youth Startup Smart Farm Package Support Project" until the 19th.
According to the city on September 2, this support project provides a package of resources-including greenhouse construction, energy facilities, ICT equipment, and cultivation facilities-to help young people in regions with declining populations take on the challenge of smart farming.

View original imageFrom 2022 to 2024, the city supported a total project budget of 2.3 billion won for seven sites, and this year, it is investing an additional 1.2 billion won in four sites.
Eligible applicants are young people in Namwon City who have completed (or are scheduled to complete) the Jeonbuk Youth Startup Incubation Center program, as well as outstanding young farmers in the city and county. Each selected site will receive 308 million won in support. Those interested in the project must submit an application form and required documents by the 19th. After a document review and evaluation committee, the final selections will be made in November.
