Gyeonggi Province Provides Emergency Support of 16,000 Bottles of 2L Water to Drought-Stricken Gangneung
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will provide emergency support to Gangneung, Gangwon Province, which is struggling with drought, by supplying 16,000 bottles of 2-liter bottled water.
On September 1, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced that, in consultation with the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, it had decided to use disaster relief funds to deliver 16,000 bottles of 2-liter bottled water to areas with restricted water supply over a two-day period.
Due to a prolonged lack of rainfall, Gangneung has been unable to provide a stable supply of water for daily use, resulting in restricted water supply for residents in certain areas.
