Ansan City to Provide Electric Vehicle Fire Suppression Equipment to Apartment Complexes
Support for Purchase of Fire Blankets and Water Tanks
Applications Open for Participating Complexes Until the 19th
On September 1, 2025, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it is accepting applications until the 19th for apartment complexes within the city to participate in a support program providing electric vehicle fire suppression equipment.
Through this program, the city will subsidize the purchase of electric vehicle fire suppression equipment, such as fire blanket covers and electric vehicle fire water tanks, to enable a swift initial response and prevent the spread of fires in the event of an electric vehicle fire.
The program is open to apartment complexes with electric vehicle charging facilities and at least 100 households. The city will provide up to 2 million won per complex to cover equipment purchase costs.
Apartment complexes wishing to participate should refer to the 'Notices and Announcements' section on the Ansan City Hall website, prepare the required documents, and submit them in person to the Housing Division at City Hall.
