Mayor Shin Sangjin Highlights the Value of Artistic Photography

View original imageThe event was attended by a total of about 300 people, including Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin, Song Wi-hyuk, President of the Seongnam Branch of the Korean Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations, Yoo Suchan, Chairman of the Korea Photographers Association, other officials, and photographers from across the country.
In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Shin stated, "As we live in an era where photography has become widespread, the fundamental question of 'what truly makes a good photograph' has grown even more important," adding, "The role of photographers who elevate photography to the level of art and deliver profound emotion is more valuable and meaningful than ever."
He went on to say, "Seongnam City will continue to actively support such high-quality cultural and artistic activities in the future."
