Jeonju Deokjin Police Station in North Jeolla Province announced on the 26th that Director of Hotel Management, Mr. A, and Facility Management Staff, Mr. B, have been referred to the prosecution on charges of occupational negligence resulting in injury.

At the time, one guest was struck on the head by the chandelier that fell from the ceiling, while another guest sustained a leg injury from glass shards that bounced off the floor. The wedding hall quickly descended into chaos as startled guests rushed to evacuate.
The police determined that the hotel had been negligent in facility management and launched an investigation, booking Mr. A and Mr. B as criminal suspects. A police official stated, "All suspects who have been booked are responsible for managing the wedding hall facilities," adding, "After investigating those involved, we have determined that the charges have been substantiated and have referred the case to the prosecution."

In response, the hotel stated, "We are currently in the process of reaching a settlement with the injured victims," and added, "We are maintaining regular contact with the victims and expect to finalize the settlement soon."
