Plans Underway to Expand Integration to All General Hospitals
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on August 27 that it has completed the integration of the "Health Information Expressway" platform with all advanced general hospitals nationwide. As a result, citizens can now directly access their medical information from 47 advanced general hospitals through the "My Health Record" application (app).

View original imageThe Health Information Expressway is a national medical information intermediary platform that enables patients to directly check and utilize their personal medical records, prescriptions, health checkup results, and vaccination information held by public institutions and medical facilities through the My Health Record app. As of August, a total of 1,264 medical institutions are participating, including 47 advanced general hospitals, 53 general hospitals, and 1,164 clinics and hospitals.
The My Health Record app offers a variety of features to help citizens conveniently use their medical information in daily life. Users can view their medical history, various test results, blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and prescription records. The app also provides access to national health checkup results and allows users to manage their children's vaccination schedules. In addition, it offers information about hospitals and pharmacies operating 24 hours a day, making it useful in emergency situations.
