Creating Safer Workplaces... Busan Northern Region Construction Site Safety and Health Forum Held
The Busan Northern Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (headed by Min Gwangje) and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (headed by Jeong Jongdeuk) held the 2025 Busan Northern Region Construction Site Safety and Health Forum at the Busan Transportation Corporation Railroad Human Resources and Technology Institute on August 26.

View original imageThis Safety and Health Forum was organized to encourage voluntary safety and health activities at construction sites in the Busan Northern Region, and to create safer workplaces through the sharing of information and communication on industrial accident prevention. More than 130 construction site managers and safety and health officials from the Busan Northern Region attended the event.
The forum featured substantial programs, including an introduction to the Safe Workplace Project, sharing of construction industry safety and health accident cases, presentations of outstanding risk assessment cases, and sharing of fall prevention safety management practices, to ensure that participants could engage in effective safety and health activities.

The Busan Northern Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency stated that they will continue to provide opportunities for communication with the field to narrow the gap in safety and health activity levels among workplaces of various industries and sizes, and to reduce industrial accidents.
