Understanding Risk Through a Criminal Psychology Perspective
Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on August 26 that it will hold a lecture for the "Gijang Humanities Empathy Academy" at 7:00 p.m. on September 11 at the Children's Theater in the Small Hall of Jeonggwan Library.
This lecture will feature Professor Park Jisun, a professor of social psychology at Sookmyung Women's University and a renowned authority on criminal psychology, who has been invited to give a talk on the topic "Dangerous People Around Us."
Professor Park has served as a professor at the Korean National Police University and as a forensic science advisor to the National Police Agency. She has also actively communicated with the public through appearances on numerous TV programs, including SBS's "Unanswered Questions," KBS's "Chase 60 Minutes," and tvN's "Alssulbeomjab."
Through this lecture, local residents are expected to gain an opportunity to understand the psychology and behavior of dangerous individuals from a criminal psychology perspective and to raise awareness in their daily lives.
An official from Gijang County said, "We expect this lecture to enhance residents' humanities literacy and contribute to creating a safer local community. We ask for the active interest and participation of all county residents."

Registration for the lecture will be available on a first-come, first-served basis through the Gijang County Lifelong Learning website starting at 9:00 a.m. on August 28.
