Through On-Site Briefing Session at the Construction Site
The construction progress rate of the Daejeon Yuseong Integrated Terminal currently stands at 49%, and the project is proceeding smoothly with the goal of completion set for April 2026.
On the afternoon of the 25th, Daejeon City held an on-site briefing session for local passenger vehicle transportation operators at the construction site of the Yuseong Integrated Terminal in Guam-dong, Yuseong-gu.
This briefing session was organized to share the progress of the public terminal being built within the Yuseong Integrated Transfer Center project area, and to gather feedback from the transportation industry in order to enhance passenger convenience and intercity transportation safety.
During the session, the city provided an overview of the design and project schedule, listened to operational difficulties and suggestions raised by transportation companies on-site, and discussed possible improvements.
Transportation companies in the area, including Daejeon Integrated Terminal, Lucid (Southwest Terminal), Geumnam Jungbu Express, and Kumho Express, attended the briefing and presented their opinions on terminal layout and facility improvement plans.
The Yuseong Integrated Terminal is being developed with a total project cost of 44.9 billion won, targeting completion in April 2026. The site covers 15,000 square meters, and the terminal will consist of three above-ground buildings with two floors each, totaling a floor area of 3,713 square meters. The current construction progress rate is 49%, and the city plans to complete the new building construction by December this year.

An official from Daejeon City stated, "This briefing session will serve as an important opportunity to build a safe and convenient terminal through communication with transportation companies," adding, "We will reflect the opinions of transportation companies as much as possible and proceed with the construction without any setbacks."
