Pyeongtaek Port Authority Conducts Underwater and Waterfront Cleanup at Jebu Marina on the 22nd
On the 22nd, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority, together with the Gyeonggi Province branch of the Korea Special Mission Veterans Association, conducted underwater and waterfront cleanup activities around Jebu Marina in Hwaseong City.
The Pyeongtaek Port Authority collected marine debris threatening the marine ecosystem, such as underwater waste, discarded ropes, and remnants of fishing gear, through underwater cleanup operations. In addition, various types of plastic, cans, and glass bottles discarded along the nearby coast and waterfront areas were collected.

Meanwhile, Jebu Marina, which opened in June 2021, is the largest marina in Gyeonggi Province, with a capacity to accommodate a total of 300 vessels-176 at sea and 124 on the water. By the end of 2025, customer convenience facilities such as a clubhouse and a ship repair shop will be fully established.
