New Talent Joins Namyangju Cultural Foundation to Lead the City’s Cultural Advancement

View original imageThis appointment marks the first recruitment of new employees since the foundation's establishment. It was carried out to secure professional talent in order to expand citizens' access to cultural experiences and to advance as a cultural city.
The newly appointed employees include one team leader, four deputy department heads, three assistant managers, and three junior managers. Most of them are experienced professionals with extensive backgrounds at the foundation. They will be responsible for a variety of cultural programs, including management planning, performance and exhibition planning and operations, and community culture planning. In addition, they are expected to discover cultural content that reflects citizens' opinions and to revitalize the local cultural and artistic ecosystem.
The city plans to facilitate the early stabilization of the cultural foundation and the effective integration of the new employees by providing training and transferring work responsibilities. Namyangju City will continue to offer full support so that the Namyangju Cultural Foundation can establish itself as a central institution in building a citizen-centered cultural city.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "Just as Dasan Jeong Yak-yong said that each small decision made every day becomes part of one's history, your daily visions and decisions will come together to create a new history for the cultural city of Namyangju," and urged, "Please play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for Namyangju to become a self-sufficient city of the future."
