This project will be carried out in the Cheongdongcheon area, where embankments were washed away, river facilities collapsed, and farmland was flooded due to the torrential downpours.
The main components of the project include maintenance of 2.8 kilometers of embankments and riverbanks, reconstruction of six bridges, and reconstruction of 15 drainage facilities and 11 weirs and drop structures.
The county is focusing not only on simple restoration but also on disaster-prevention-oriented structural improvements to protect the lives and property of residents.
The county plans to begin detailed design work in October and aims to complete the project by 2027.
