On August 21, Samsung Display announced that it will operate a QD-OLED visual experience zone at Gamescom 2025 in collaboration with the global gaming company Sega.

View original imageGamescom is being held in Cologne, Germany, from August 20 to 24 (local time). At the experience zone, visitors can preview Sega's "Sonic Racing Crossworld," which is scheduled for a global release in the second half of the year, enjoying its vibrant visuals on QD-OLED monitors. Samsung Display has also installed 65-inch and 77-inch QD-OLED TVs on the outer walls of the Sega booth to help promote the game with the highest picture quality.
"Sonic Racing Crossworld," set for official release in September, is a racing battle game featuring popular characters from the "Sonic" series. Players can combine a variety of vehicles and characters for an even more dynamic gaming experience. With even more thrilling track designs, the game is highly anticipated for delivering the ultimate racing experience.

View original imageAt this event, Samsung Display, in partnership with Dell and MSI, has prepared 50 monitors equipped with its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panels for display, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the exceptional gaming visuals of QD-OLED. Sega's game experience zone is also based on these monitors.
In particular, Alienware's AW3225QF is the world's first 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor, featuring a high refresh rate of 240Hz, making it suitable for both PC and console gaming environments. Dell's S3225QC is optimized for console gaming and is equipped with AI-enhanced 3D spatial audio. MSI's MAG321UP offers a reliable gaming experience with MSI OLED Care 2.0 technology.
