The donated water will be kept at three mobile worker shelters in Changwon, so that workers using the shelters can drink cold water whenever they need it.
In addition, Changwon City continues to expand its support for heat wave prevention supplies, providing items such as cooling sleeves, neck coolers, and cool masks to delivery workers suffering from the heat.
Currently, Changwon City operates a total of three mobile worker shelters: the Changwon Base Shelter (57 Madimiro, Seongsan-gu, 2nd floor), the Masan Temporary Shelter (5 Odongseo 1-gil, Masanhappo-gu, 1st floor), and the Jinhae Temporary Shelter (25 Dongjin-ro 49beon-gil, Jinhae-gu).
Heo Jonggu, Vice President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank, stated, "I hope this donation of water will provide real help to mobile workers who are sweating and working hard in the heat wave," adding, "We plan to continue donating water to the shelters during the heat wave period next year as well."
