At the end of June, their messages were displayed at 78 bus stops.
This event was attended by Mayor Joo Gwangdeok and the citizen mayor models, and included a screening of a citizen mayor video, a conversation session with the mayor, and the sharing of a photobook.
In particular, during the conversation session, participants shared how Namyangju has changed over the past three years of the 8th administration from the perspective of the citizen mayors, and exchanged their impressions and experiences of participating in the bus stop promotional activities.
Additionally, participants from all generations, from elementary school students to seniors, enjoyed a quiz on key policy keywords and discussed the meaning and vision of city administration, creating a barrier-free space for communication filled with laughter and applause.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok emphasized, "Namyangju is moving forward as a grassroots democracy where citizens' voluntary participation leads city administration, under the philosophy that citizens are the mayors themselves," adding, "Even small but sincere actions by citizens are the most powerful driving force for change."
