According to Sejong City on August 19, the city conducted a comprehensive review of the implementation results and budget execution rates for 61 detailed measures in the fields of industry, transportation, agriculture and daily life, citizen health protection, and policy infrastructure, as part of the 1st Comprehensive Fine Dust Management Plan (2020-2024). Last year, the annual average concentration of ultrafine dust in Sejong was 19㎍/㎥, which represents a 17.4% improvement compared to 23㎍/㎥ in the base year of 2016.
In particular, the city was recognized for its outstanding achievements in all areas, including the implementation of the total emission management system for industrial air emission sites, expansion of zero-emission vehicle charging infrastructure, and enforcement of the seasonal fine dust management system.
