Samsung Card's "Eco Package" Wins Best of the Best at Germany's Red Dot Design Award
"First Korean Card Company to Win Best of the Best Award"
Samsung Card announced on the 19th that it has received the Best of the Best award in the Brand Communication category at the Red Dot Design Award in Germany for its eco-friendly card package, the "Eco Package."
The Eco Package is a card package made from recycled paper that allows items such as cards to be stored without the use of adhesives.
According to Samsung Card, this is the first time a Korean card company has received the Best of the Best award at the Red Dot Design Award.
The Red Dot Design Award is organized by the Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. Alongside the IDEA Design Award in the United States and the iF Design Award in Germany, it is considered one of the world's top three design competitions.

A Samsung Card representative stated, "Our design, which takes the environment into consideration, has been recognized, and we have become the first in the industry to receive the Best of the Best award at the Red Dot Award," adding, "We will continue to promote designs that consider both environmental and social impact."
