Online Expo 'Welfare ON' to Run September 8-15
To commemorate Social Welfare Day, the Hwaseong Welfare Foundation in Gyeonggi Province will host the '2025 Hwaseong Special City Welfare Festa' at the U&I Center Hwaseong Art Hall on September 11.
This event aims to encourage the activities of social service workers and provide welfare information to citizens. The program will include: ▲ commendations for outstanding contributors in the welfare sector ▲ a talk concert ▲ hands-on experience booths, among other activities.
For the talk concert, broadcasters Kim Younghee and Jung Beomgyun will appear to share and discuss the concerns of social service workers, offering both laughter and comfort. The venue will also feature a variety of experience booths for networking and relaxation, such as 'Stick Grabbing' and 'Catch 9.11 Seconds.'
Social service workers in Hwaseong who wish to participate can register on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 400 people via Naver Form starting August 18, and on-site registration will also be available on the day of the event. In addition to the Festa, from September 8 to September 15, the city will hold an online expo called 'Welfare ON' to provide welfare information to citizens. The expo will be available on the Hwaseong Welfare Foundation website and YouTube channel, featuring project introductions and welfare information videos produced by local social service agencies. During the expo, online events such as quizzes and acrostic poem contests will also be held.
