The project supports seniors in becoming knowledge transmitters, communication hubs, and facilitators of community revitalization within the local society.
The program is organized by People Who Practice Lifelong Learning (Chairperson Yoo Insook), in collaboration with The First Education Research Institute (Director Kim Eunsook), which is responsible for planning, operating, and promoting the entire educational curriculum. Upon completion of the training, participants will directly engage in local village education activities and are expected to serve as practical community leaders.
A Goryeong County official stated, "Given the current shortage of local change leaders, the role of Village Chief Instructors, who are grassroots leaders, is crucial," adding, "We hope they will become facilitators who connect residents and help restore the community."
