Gyeonggi Province Conducts Safety Inspections of 293 Unmanned Kids Cafes and Children's Play Facilities
Gyeonggi Province is conducting safety management inspections of 293 unmanned children's play facilities, including unmanned kids cafes and kids pools, within the province.
Unmanned kids cafes and kids pools are play facilities operated without on-site staff, requiring users to utilize the facilities on their own, which makes it difficult to respond quickly in the event of an accident.
In response, Gyeonggi Province is providing more systematic support for safety management by conducting on-site inspections and, at the same time, producing promotional materials containing the "Unmanned Kids Cafe and Unmanned Kids Pool Manager Safety Management Guidelines." These materials are being distributed to frontline operators through city and county offices.

In particular, the materials are designed to help create a safer environment by providing guidance on methods to attract the attention of guardians and outlining practical actions for facility operators.
Gyeonggi Province expects that, through the distribution of these materials, operators of unmanned children's play facilities will increase their awareness of safety and establish their own practical management systems on site.

Lee Jongdon, Director of Safety Management at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Children's safety is the highest priority that cannot be neglected even for a moment, and the responsibility of managers is especially important in unmanned facilities. The province will continue to produce and distribute systematic safety management materials and take the lead in creating a safe play environment for children."
