Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (YGPA, Acting President Hwang Hakbeom) announced on August 5 that it had published the "2024 Sustainable Management Report," which contains the achievements of ESG management from the previous year.
This report, which has been published for five consecutive years since its first edition in 2020, was created to systematically organize the corporation's ESG management performance and transparently disclose it to stakeholders and the public.

View original imageThe report comprehensively covers the corporation's major activities and achievements over the past year and presents concrete examples based on YGPA's ESG management strategies, such as "YGPA coexisting with the environment," "YGPA growing through mutual prosperity and cooperation," and "YGPA advancing with responsibility and trust."
Additionally, the report was prepared based on international guidelines (such as GRI Standards and TCFD), thereby enhancing its reliability and comparability.
In the environmental (E) sector, the report includes systematic coverage of activities such as securing carbon emission rights and operating energy-independent ports. In the social (S) sector, it details flawless port safety and disaster management, as well as community-centered inclusive welfare and social contribution activities. In the governance (G) sector, it outlines the strengthening of a transparent management system centered on the board of directors, along with other responsible management activities across the organization.

Moving forward, YGPA plans to continue transparently disclosing its ESG management achievements and vision through the sustainable management report and to enhance the future value of the port.
