Six Outstanding Public Officials Selected for the First Half of the Year
Recognized for Excellence in the Civil Complaint Processing Mileage System
On August 4, Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province held an awards ceremony in the county governor's office to recognize outstanding public officials for the first half of the year under the Civil Complaint Processing Mileage System. Six public officials who contributed to improving civil service were selected and presented with certificates of commendation.
The "Civil Complaint Processing Mileage System" is a program that awards mileage points to public officials who process civil complaints more quickly by shortening the legally mandated processing period. Outstanding officials are selected and awarded every half-year, which contributes to enhancing both the responsibility and credibility of civil administration.
For the first half of this year, Park Minyul was selected as the top official, while Song Taekeun and Kim Geunwoo were recognized for excellence. Jo Gayoung, Kim Yujin, and Cha Juhwan received encouragement awards. Each recipient was presented with a certificate and an Ulleung Love Gift Certificate.
County Governor Nam Hankwon expressed his gratitude, saying, "I thank the staff for their hard work in communicating directly with residents at the forefront of civil service and carrying out their duties with kindness and sincerity." He also urged, "Please continue to strive to realize a trustworthy civil administration centered on county residents."
Ulleung County announced that it will continue to operate the mileage system in the second half of the year, actively working to boost the morale of civil complaint officers and to realize an administration that empathizes with and centers on county residents.
