View original imageThese vehicles will be used for approximately five months, until November, to support disaster recovery efforts. They will be utilized for transporting volunteer personnel, delivering relief supplies and equipment, conducting preliminary inspections, and carrying out emergency response activities.
Hector Villarreal, President of GM Korea, stated, "Prompt support for the community is a key part of GM's commitment to sustainable management and social responsibility," adding, "We will continue to pay attention to vulnerable groups in the community and steadily carry out activities that contribute to local society."
In addition, GM Korea is running a cash support program for new car purchases by customers affected by flooding until July 31. Customers who have suffered flood damage due to heavy rainfall and purchase a new Chevrolet or GMC vehicle can receive up to 1 million KRW in cash support by submitting documentation issued by their insurance company or local government to prove the damage.
