Park Jumin: "Provocative Thumbnails, Like a Far-Right YouTuber"
Park Jumin, a lawmaker from the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized Seoul Mayor Oh Sehun, saying, "He is creating content that you would only expect to see on far-right YouTuber channels." Mayor Oh currently operates a YouTube channel called 'Oh Sehun TV,' which delivers news and issues related to Seoul.
On July 22, Park Jumin posted on his Facebook page an article titled, "Mayor Oh Sehun, have you decided to become a far-right YouTuber?" Park remarked, "I thought the channel had been hacked," and pointed out that it was hard to believe this YouTube channel was actually run by the Mayor of Seoul.
Park stated, "Provocative titles and images such as 'Gaeddal,' 'Direct Train to Venezuela,' and 'The Road to National Ruin,' as well as content that incites hatred and fear?these are the kinds of things you would expect to find on far-right YouTuber channels, yet they are pouring out from Mayor Oh Sehun's channel." He added, "This goes beyond political bias and is essentially hate-mongering. If the head of Seoul is spending his own money to imitate far-right YouTubers, that is a problem in itself."
He continued, "If even a single cent of Seoul's budget was spent on this content, it would be an even more serious issue," and added, "Since a special prosecutor will soon begin investigating Myung Taegyun, I hope you prepare for the investigation instead of spending time acting like a far-right YouTuber."

Recently, Mayor Oh Sehun criticized President Lee Jaemyung's livelihood support fund policy in a video titled "Direct Train to Venezuela" on his YouTube channel 'Oh Sehun TV.' Mayor Oh commented, "Temporarily handing out money is the worst of all bad policies," and added, "On top of that, the money is being distributed by taking on debt. The government said it would cover all the costs, but in reality, a certain percentage has been shifted onto local governments."
