Tmoney Mobility and Kakao Mobility Collaborate
to Launch Mobile Booking and Payment Service
for Local Tourist Taxis and City Tours
The Korea Tourism Organization announced on July 22 that it has launched a service, in collaboration with Tmoney Mobility and Kakao Mobility, allowing users to easily book and pay for local tourist taxis and city tours via mobile apps.
The organization stated that the reservation and payment service is available in 24 local governments selected through the "Public-Private Partnership for Tourism Transportation Revitalization" contest held in April. Tourist taxi products can be booked and paid for through the "TmoneyGO" app, while city tour products are available through the "Kakao T" app.
To celebrate the launch of this service, the organization announced a promotion offering up to 50% off tourist taxi products on "TmoneyGO." The 50% discount will be available until the allocated budget is exhausted.
