Support for Deferred Insurance Premium Payments for Heavy Rain Victims
Park Byunghee, CEO of NH Nonghyup Life Insurance, visited areas of the Chungnam region that suffered severe damage from the heavy rainfall to assess the situation and promised practical support for swift recovery efforts.
On the 20th, CEO Park visited Buyeo and Cheongyang. He visited Gyuram Nonghyup in Buyeo and Jeongsan Nonghyup in Cheongyang in succession, inspected the affected farms, met with farmers and related personnel to understand the extent of the damage, and pledged support for on-site recovery.

For those affected by the heavy rainfall, insurance premium payment deferrals will be available from July 21 to October 31. The deferral can be granted for up to six months, including the month of application, and after the deferral period, payments can be made in installments for up to two additional months. During the same period, if lapsed contracts are reinstated, overdue interest will be waived.
Measures for loan support have also been prepared. Interest payments (excluding overdue interest) can be deferred for up to 12 months from the final interest payment date. Installment repayments can also be deferred for up to 12 months from the payment due date, within the repayment period. Applications for loan support will be accepted until October 31.
CEO Park stated, "After visiting the affected areas in person, I realized that it is urgent to establish measures for recovery," and added, "NH Nonghyup Life Insurance will provide the fullest possible manpower and financial support to ensure a swift resolution of the situation and help farmers return to their daily lives."
