Eastar Jet Adds 126 Temporary Flights for Chuseok Golden Holiday, Doubles Seat Supply
On July 16, Eastar Jet announced that it will operate a total of 126 additional temporary flights for the Chuseok holiday, covering routes to Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Busan.
From October 2 to October 12, Eastar Jet will add a total of 126 flights, including 18 flights between Incheon and Danang, 14 flights between Incheon and Nha Trang, 22 flights between Incheon and Sapporo, 22 flights between Incheon and Taipei, 6 flights between Busan and Phu Quoc, 12 flights between Busan and Chiang Mai, and 32 flights between Gimpo and Busan. In addition, the Cheongju-Nha Trang route, which was not previously operated, will be served with a total of 4 charter flights.
During this period, the number of available seats on these routes will increase from the current 25,638 to 49,356, nearly doubling the supply.
An Eastar Jet representative stated, "This year's Chuseok is a ten-day golden holiday, and we expect a significant increase in demand for overseas travel." The representative added, "By increasing flights to popular destinations, we aim to resolve seat shortages during the holiday period and provide travelers with more flight options."
