Hansung Sook, Minister of SMEs and Startups Nominee, Submits Resignation from Naver Advisory Role
Hansung Sook, nominee for Minister of SMEs and Startups, has resigned from her advisory position at Naver.
On July 10, the personnel hearing preparation team announced that Hansung Sook submitted her resignation from her advisory role at Naver the previous day. The resignation is scheduled to be processed on July 11.
Hansung Sook served as CEO of Naver from 2017 to 2022. When she was recently nominated as the Minister of SMEs and Startups, she was serving as an advisor at Naver.

Previously, Hansung Sook also stated her intention to sell all of her Naver shares upon taking office as minister. She currently holds a total of 68,934 Naver shares, combining stock options she recently exercised with shares she already owned.
