It has been reported that the police have launched an investigation after a post suggesting threats and murder against President Lee Jaemyung appeared on an online community.
On July 10, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Cyber Investigation Unit received a report on July 5 stating that "a post threatening to kill President Lee Jaemyung has been uploaded to an online community," and began an investigation. The post in question has since been deleted.

The police have assigned the case to the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and plan to track down the author of the post and review the charges before formally booking the suspect.
