All University of Seoul Participants Win Awards at Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences Idea Competition
The Next-Generation Communication Innovation Convergence College Project Group at the University of Seoul announced on July 11 that all seven students from the university who participated in the undergraduate idea competition at the 2025 Summer Comprehensive Academic Conference of the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences, held last month, received awards.
This idea competition was hosted by the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences and organized by the Next-Generation Communication Innovation Convergence College Project Group at the University of Seoul.
The competition was designed to discover creative ideas in the fields of communication and convergent technologies and to encourage student interest and participation. Every participating team was awarded a prize.
A total of seven teams (seven students) from the University of Seoul participated in the competition.
The students proposed a variety of ideas to solve social problems by utilizing advanced digital technologies such as digital spaces, robotics, and AI. They also presented creative ideas based on their problem-solving abilities and convergent technological thinking.

A representative from the project group stated, "This competition provided students with a valuable opportunity to conceptualize and present their own ideas," and added, "We will continue to actively support students so that they can develop practical skills in industrial and research settings."
