View original imageGwangju University announced on June 28 that it has signed an international education cooperation agreement with the University of Texas at San Antonio Alamo Colleges Alliance to foster global talent and strengthen the foundation for internationalization.
The signing ceremony took place on June 27 at the Education Innovation Support Office on the 6th floor of the Administration Building at Gwangju University. The event was attended by Jang Miyoung, Vice President of Gwangju University; Lee Gipyo, Director of the Office of International Cooperation; Dr. Russell Wagner and Professor Alfonso Cantu from the Alamo Colleges Alliance; and Wi Gahwan, Director of International Exchange at Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The Alamo Colleges Alliance is an educational consortium composed of five community colleges located in San Antonio, Texas, United States. It is actively engaged in practice-oriented education and international exchange.
Through this agreement, the two institutions have agreed to actively cooperate in expanding their global network, including exchanges in education and research and the promotion of joint programs.
