Changnyeong County Holds 'Integrity Talk Concert' for Communication and Empathy with County Governor

Changnyeong County in South Gyeongsang Province held the "Integrity Talk Concert with the County Governor" on June 24 at the small theater of the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center, with about 160 employees in attendance.
This Integrity Talk Concert broke away from conventional integrity education formats and instead adopted a unique approach that combined education and performance, allowing public officials to naturally experience the importance of integrity.

View original imageThe event featured a variety of programs, starting with a pledge ceremony for practicing integrity, followed by an interactive integrity talk with the county governor, and a humanities-based integrity culture concert using famous artworks.
In particular, the "Integrity Talk with the County Governor" was designed to narrow the gaps between generations and job ranks, and to foster a culture of integrity in public service based on communication and empathy.
At the event, employees used QR codes to anonymously submit questions, which the county governor answered on the spot. This format allowed for active sharing of concerns and suggestions that are usually difficult to raise, receiving a very positive response.

View original imageCounty Governor Sung Nakin said, "This was a valuable and meaningful opportunity to revisit the somewhat heavy topic of integrity through open communication," and added, "We will continue to create a trusted administration and a comfortable organizational culture through active communication and the promotion of a vibrant integrity culture."
Meanwhile, Changnyeong County plans to actively incorporate the various suggestions made during this Integrity Talk Concert into county policies after consulting with relevant departments.
