Busan Transportation Corporation (President Lee Byungjin) is publicly recruiting "Busan Metro Exclusive Voice Actors" to enhance the professionalism and consistency of metro announcement broadcasts.
The application period runs from June 24 to July 8.
This recruitment has been planned to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the opening of Metro Line 1. The corporation aims to improve the quality of announcement content and provide services that reflect both regional characteristics and professionalism, targeting voice artists residing in Busan.
The selected exclusive voice actor will participate in a variety of recording tasks, including not only in-train announcements but also the production of training content for train operators. Eligible applicants include professional voice actors, announcers, and freelance broadcasters with experience in producing voice content or broadcasting activities.
Applicants must submit an audio file (in MP3 or WAV format) of the broadcast script provided by the corporation, along with the application form, via email to the designated contact. The application form can be downloaded from the corporation's website.
The selection process involves an internal review to shortlist three candidates, after which a public survey will determine the final selection. Evaluation criteria include not only voice quality such as pronunciation, intonation, and delivery, but also career experience and compatibility with the corporation's image.
