"Angry Over Speed Camera," Man in His 40s Crashes Car Into Police Station and Is Arrested

A man in his 40s was arrested on the spot by police after he drove his car into a police station building out of anger over being caught by a speed enforcement camera.
On the 23rd, the Jeonnam Suncheon Police Station apprehended Mr. A on charges of special trespass into a building and special damage to public property, and is currently investigating him.
According to the Suncheon Police Station, at around 8:23 p.m. that day, Mr. A drove his sport utility vehicle (SUV) into the police station building. The SUV crashed through the front glass doors and came to a stop after hitting an interior wall of the building. Fortunately, there were no injuries, as no police officers were nearby at the time.

The police arrested Mr. A at the scene and booked him on charges of special damage to public property and special trespass. During police questioning, Mr. A reportedly stated that he acted out of anger after being repeatedly caught by speed enforcement cameras. It was confirmed that Mr. A was not intoxicated at the time. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
