On the morning of June 20, train service on the Uijeongbu Light Rail Transit in Gyeonggi Province was suspended for approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes due to a train malfunction, causing inconvenience for commuters.
According to Uijeongbu Light Rail Transit, at around 4:20 a.m. that day, a train traveling toward Balgok experienced a malfunction at Hyoja Station.
As a result of this incident, train operations were halted for 2 hours and 20 minutes, preventing commuters from using the trains during the morning rush hour.
