North Korea Fires Multiple Rocket Launchers... US "Closely Communicating with South Korea's New Administration and Monitoring"
The White House stated that it is "monitoring the situation" after North Korea fired more than ten multiple rocket launchers into the West Sea on June 19.
At a briefing on June 19 (local time), White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt responded to a question about North Korea's rocket launches by saying this, and added, "The Trump administration is cooperating to deter our adversaries and to preserve a free and open Indo-Pacific, while maintaining close communication with South Korea's new dialogue partners?officials from the Lee Jaemyung administration."
Spokesperson Leavitt went on to say, "President Trump will not tolerate threats to our interests during his term in office."

According to South Korean military authorities, North Korea fired more than ten multiple rocket launchers northwestward from the Sunan area near Pyongyang on June 19. The rockets were launched toward the West Sea and reportedly traveled several tens of kilometers.
