Korean Standards Association Holds Certification Ceremony for Top Companies in Consumer Wellbeing Environment Satisfaction Index
The Korean Standards Association announced on June 18 that it held the "2025 Consumer Wellbeing Environment Satisfaction Index (KS-WEI) No. 1 Company Certification Ceremony" at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong. This year's ceremony was attended by 19 companies that were selected as No. 1 in their respective sectors.
The Consumer Wellbeing Environment Satisfaction Index (KS-WEI) is a wellbeing satisfaction measurement model jointly developed by the association and Yonsei University. This index evaluates five dimensions: Health, Environment, Safety, Satisfaction, and Social Responsibility. It selects the top company in wellbeing satisfaction for each industry sector and has been conducted annually since 2004.
According to the results of the 2025 KS-WEI survey, the overall average score was 65.53 points, a decrease of 1.10 points compared to the previous year. The product sector scored 65.52 points, a decrease of 0.32 points from the previous year, while the service sector scored 65.56 points, a decrease of 0.18 points. Despite the overall decline in scores, 63 out of 100 surveyed sectors maintained the same top-ranking companies as last year, indicating steady consumer trust.
