The Chinese Embassy in Israel has urged its nationals in the country to leave Israel via land routes as soon as possible.
According to the Times of Israel and other sources on June 17 (local time), the embassy issued a notice on the social networking service WeChat, stating, "As the conflict between Israel and Iran continues to intensify, the security situation is becoming more serious, with increasing damage to civilian facilities and a rising number of civilian casualties."
The embassy recommended that Chinese nationals leave Israel via land routes to Jordan, as Israeli airspace remains closed. The embassy has suspended consular and other external services since June 15.
