Hongju Cultural Tourism Foundation Announces Character Contest for Gwangcheon Cave Salted Shrimp·Seasoned Seaweed Grand Festival

View original imageThe Hongju Cultural Tourism Foundation in Hongseong County, South Chungcheong Province, announced that it will hold a 'character contest' to promote the Gwangcheon Cave Salted Shrimp·Seasoned Seaweed Grand Festival, one of the county's representative festivals.
The contest, which is open for applications and submissions until June 30, is open to everyone. Applications can be submitted through 'Loudsourcing,' the largest contest platform in Korea.
Each individual or team may submit up to three entries for the contest.
A panel of experts will judge the entries based on their practicality, originality, and popularity, with a total prize of 3 million won to be awarded.
Choi Geonhwan, CEO of the Hongju Cultural Tourism Foundation, said, "We hope that through this contest, we can develop creative characters that capture the identity of the Gwangcheon Cave Salted Shrimp·Seasoned Seaweed Grand Festival and help attract more tourists."
Meanwhile, the Hongju Cultural Tourism Foundation plans to use the winning characters from this contest for merchandise production and tourism product development.
