Gimhae City Council Launches Full-Scale Administrative Audit ... Comprehensive Review of Departmental Operations

Gimhae City Council in South Gyeongsang Province is officially launching an administrative audit to review the major policies and overall administrative affairs carried out by the city last year.
The council announced on June 12 that it has been conducting the administrative audit from June 9 to June 17 during the 271st first regular session.
Through this audit, the council plans to diagnose issues related to policies and administrative affairs implemented over the past year, propose institutional improvements and policy directions, and thereby enhance administrative transparency and efficiency.

View original imageFrom June 9 to 11, the council inspected the status of projects by collecting relevant materials and conducting on-site inspections through each standing committee.
From June 12 to June 17, the audit will cover all departmental operations.
Chairperson An Sunhwan stated, "This administrative audit is not simply a procedure to point out mistakes, but a fundamental process to examine whether policies are truly connected to citizens' lives and whether the administration has operated in a citizen-centered manner."
He added, "I hope this audit will become an opportunity for the council and the executive branch to communicate and cooperate in finding the best solutions to improve the quality of life for citizens."
