A Warm Meal Brings Comfort and Courage
to Elderly Individuals Living Alone
"I used to get by every day with just kimchi and cold soup, but being served a warm meal like this makes me feel like I have a reason to keep living."
In June, the Month of Patriots and Veterans, an elderly man in his eighties was moved to tears at a Korean restaurant in Dalseo-gu, Daegu.

This meal support was made possible by the generous sponsorship of the KBS Kang Tae-won Welfare Foundation. The initiative aims not only to ease the financial burden but also to support the meals of elderly individuals who may be socially isolated, providing them with emotional stability and opportunities for social interaction.
The KBS Kang Tae-won Welfare Foundation, established in memory of the late Kang Tae-won and with the support of KBS, continues to extend a helping hand to neighbors in need and contributes to the spread of a culture of giving.
