This project will be located within a cultural park created as a public contribution in Jangwi District 10, and aims to expand cultural and educational infrastructure for local residents following the completion of the Jangwi New Town redevelopment.
The library is situated a five-minute walk from Dolgoji Station on Line 6. A connecting passage to the Jangwi 2-dong Community Center is planned on the south side to enhance convenience for residents. The north side will be visually linked to the cultural park and developed in a nature-friendly manner.
Inside, a reading staircase connecting the first and second floors and a multipurpose event space will be installed, making the library an open space not only for reading but also for cultural activities by local residents. The district explained that the library’s design has been further enhanced through consultation with public architects.
