Presidential Election Turnout at 7 a.m. Reaches 2.4%... Daegu Leads with 3.2%
As of 7:00 a.m. on June 3, the voter turnout for the 21st presidential election was provisionally tallied at 2.4%.

View original imageAccording to the website of the National Election Commission, 1,084,008 out of a total of 44,391,871 eligible voters cast their ballots during the first hour of voting, which began at 6:00 a.m.
This turnout is 0.3 percentage points higher than the 2.1% recorded at the same time during the 20th presidential election in 2022, but 0.1 percentage points lower than the 2.5% turnout at the same time during the 19th presidential election in 2017.
The early voting turnout of 34.74%, recorded on May 29 and 30, is not included in this figure. The turnout rates for early voting, overseas voting, shipboard voting, and absentee voting will be incorporated starting from the turnout figures released at 1:00 p.m.
