Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency Launches Full-Scale Support for Digital Technology Demonstrations... Six Innovation Company Consortia Selected
The Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Taeyeol) is set to actively support the demonstration and global market entry of innovation companies based on digital technology.
The agency has signed agreements with six consortia selected for the "2025 Digital Innovation Company Global Growth R Voucher Support Project," which is supervised by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and has begun implementing the projects.
The core of this project is to use public and private infrastructure in the Busan region as a testbed, simultaneously supporting the field application of digital technology and verifying its market potential.
Each project will receive vouchers of up to 50 million KRW, which will be used for various activities aimed at technology demonstration and securing business commercialization references.
The six selected projects are: ▲ Knowledge Square Network: Hybrid RAG-based Q&A chatbot (Client: Busan Cultural Center) ▲ Ecomarine: Low Earth Orbit satellite-based vessel IoT data transmission system (Client: Modutel) ▲ ITFC: Smart facility management and data stability solution (Client: Namgu Facility Management Corporation) ▲ Swinners: IoT-based refrigerated container power monitoring demonstration (Client: HMM) ▲ Tiger Artificial Intelligence: AI gait analysis-based early prediction solution for Parkinson's disease (Client: Silla University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation) ▲ Eogiya Factory: Smart logistics platform for live seafood exports (Client: BEXCO).
The agency plans to enhance technological reliability and demand suitability through demonstrations, and will also support the acquisition of credible references necessary for exports and attracting investment.
President Kim Taeyeol stated, "Busan is the optimal city where strategic industries and digital technology converge," adding, "We will foster technologies that can succeed in the global market through systematic, demonstration-focused support."

The selected technologies are scheduled to be unveiled to the public at the "2025 K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN," which will be held at BEXCO from July 15 to 17.
