Chosun University Holds Sports Competition for International Students

View original imageChosun University announced on May 29 that it held the '2025 Foreign International Students Sports Competition' at the university's main athletic field over two days, on May 16 and 23.
More than 150 people, including officials from the Office of International Affairs and foreign students, participated in the sports competition. The international students demonstrated teamwork and passion as they competed in a variety of events, including soccer and basketball.
The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by a welcoming speech from the director of the Office of International Affairs, competitions for each event (soccer, basketball, and mini-games), an awards ceremony, and a closing ceremony. The mini-games included a cooperative ball bouncing game, a cooperative relay, flipping boards, the Dalgona game, and tug-of-war, among other easily accessible and enjoyable programs.
Dolgung, a student from Mongolia who participated in the competition, said, "It was really fun because there were not only major events like soccer and basketball, but also a variety of mini-games prepared."
An official from the Office of International Affairs at Chosun University stated, "We operate a variety of support activities, including visa services, Korean cultural experiences, and career and entrepreneurship programs, to help foreign students have a stable study-abroad experience." The official added, "We plan to further expand and implement programs to support international students' settlement and exchange in the future."
