Uljugun in Ulsan to Provide Up to 500,000 Won in Credit Card Fee Support for Small Business Owners
Budget Increased by 161 Million Won Compared to Last Year
On May 29, Uljugun in Ulsan announced the launch of the "2025 Small Business Credit Card Fee Support Program" to reduce the management burden on local small business owners.
This program targets small business owners who have business locations in Uljugun and whose annual sales in the previous year were 300 million won or less (including VAT). It provides support for credit card processing fees, covering 0.4% of the previous year's credit card sales, up to a maximum of 500,000 won.
Uljugun increased this year’s program budget by 161 million won compared to the previous year, enabling more small business owners to benefit from the support.
Applications will be accepted both online and in person from June 2 to June 30. Applicants must prepare the required documents during the application period and either submit them online through the Uljugun Small Business Owners website or visit the administrative welfare center in the town or township where their business is located to apply in person.
Based on the applications received, Uljugun plans to review documents and coordinate with the tax office in July, and then distribute the support funds to selected recipients in August.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Local Economy Division of Uljugun or to the industry team at each town or township administrative welfare center.
