During his campaign rally at Onyang Oncheon Station Plaza that evening, Kim said, "There are people who wear bulletproof vests during their campaigns," and raised his voice, asking, "Who would you choose between someone wearing a job vest who promises to create jobs and someone wearing a bulletproof vest?"
He continued, "It's not enough to wear a bulletproof vest and set up bulletproof glass, now they're even making bulletproof laws," and criticized, "Is it right to create a law that, if you become president, stops all five trials just to avoid going to prison?"
He went on to say, "If I become president, I will strengthen laws to send those who commit crimes to prison," and emphasized, "A trial for spreading false information has been remanded with a guilty verdict in mind, yet now they're talking about impeaching the Chief Justice, launching a special prosecutor, and holding hearings. We must stop this reckless march toward dictatorship."
Kim appealed for support by saying, "It is not Kim Munsu who can stop dictatorship, but all of you," and urged, "Only if you vote properly on June 3 will democracy prevail."
