BLACKPINK Ros? and NewJeans Win at Music Awards Japan
Ros? of the group BLACKPINK and NewJeans received awards at the Japanese music awards ceremony "Music Awards Japan 2025."
According to the official website of Music Awards Japan, the duet song "APT." by Ros? and Bruno Mars won the "Best International Pop Song in Japan," while NewJeans' "Ditto" received the "Best K-Pop Song in Japan" award.
Music Awards Japan is an awards ceremony established through collaboration among five major local organizations, including the Recording Industry Association of Japan, as well as government agencies. Winners are determined based on a combination of music charts such as Billboard Japan and Oricon, along with votes from music industry professionals. The ceremony has been taking place at the Kyoto ROMU Theater since May 21, and on May 22, major categories such as "Song of the Year" will be awarded.
